How do I book an Alpaca experience?

How do I pay for my tour?
Full payment is taken on booking. We accept all major credit cards.
Can I touch the alpacas?
Yes, absolutely! We will instruct you on where and how you can touch (and cuddle) an alpaca.
What time should I arrive for my experience?
Please check in 10 minutes before your booked time
What parking is available?
We have plenty of parking on site for all vehicle types.
Am I free to roam around, or do I need to be part of a tour?
You need to be part of a tour to access the property.
Where are you located?
We are located on McNair Road, Temuka. We will provide full instructions on how to find us on booking
Can I bring my dog on the tour?
Unfortunately, you cannot bring your dog on the experiences. If you can't leave your dog in your vehicle, there is plenty of shade to tie them up.
Can I stay onsite?
​Yes! We have space on site for up to 10 campervans or caravans. Cost is $20 per night, and you must be certified self contained. Please email us at alpacawalksnz@gmail.com to enquire
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
​We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to reschedule your booking, we will happily do this provided we have availability for the requested day and time. Please contact us on +64 20 401 17629 or email alpacawalksnz@gmail.com. If you are unable to reschedule, a full refund will be provided for cancellations made 24 hours or more before the experience start time.
